Yoga for all

Thank you Caitlin Raupp for this beautiful article.

When having a child with a disability, looking for an activity to sign them up for can be extremely intimidating. It is easy to find yourself questioning things like “will he be included?” “will he be able to participate?” “will the instructor know how to reach my child or hold his attention?” “will he get anything out of this activity?” I can say with absolute certainty that Kay and Cathy are amazing instructors who value yoga and wellbeing for all abilities.

I have found my son benefits from a Just Bee Yoga + Well-being class in ways that are unimaginable.  He has learned to take deep breaths, has expanded his vocabulary by singing along to sun salutations, can follow along and participate in the poses, and has learned to stop and listen when Miss Kay or Miss Cathy are speaking.  Those are not just yoga “skills”, they are lifelong skills!

Thank you Kay and Cathy for your patience and passion for teaching yoga to any child with any ability.  Yoga for all!
